Athletizer ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Athletizer mobile application and website at athletizer.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our services.
By registering for or using Athletizer, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988–2018.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes.
We share data with trusted third-party providers that help us operate the Service. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to us:
When you join a game, your name, profile photo, and skill level are visible to other players in that game. Your email and payment details are never shared with other users.
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Athletizer or our users.
We will not share your data for any other purpose without notifying you and obtaining your explicit consent.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS (HTTPS) and encrypted at rest.
Access to your data is restricted through Row Level Security (RLS) policies — each user can only access their own data unless they have explicit permissions granted by the system.
We restrict internal access to personal data to authorized personnel only, and only where necessary to operate the Service.
While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your data to the best of our ability.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If you request account deletion, your personal data is removed from our systems within 30 days.
We may retain certain data longer where required by law, for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or to enforce our agreements. Financial transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and accounting compliance.
Athletizer is based in Ireland. Your data may be processed and stored in servers located outside your country, including within the European Union and the United States, by our Service Providers (Supabase, PayPal, Resend, Expo).
By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to these jurisdictions. We ensure that any such transfers are conducted with appropriate safeguards in place, consistent with applicable data protection laws.
The Athletizer website (athletizer.com) uses minimal browser storage to support core functionality such as form submissions. We do not use advertising cookies or behavioral tracking on our website.
The Athletizer mobile app does not use cookies. Session management is handled securely through Supabase authentication tokens stored locally on your device.
You may clear local storage or app data at any time through your device or browser settings.
We send emails related to your account and bookings — such as booking confirmations, game cancellations, and password resets. These are required to provide the Service and cannot be opted out of while you have an active account.
We send push notifications about your games, messages, and activity. You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings (Settings → Notifications → Athletizer).
If you opt in to marketing updates, we may send you information about new features or games in your area. You can opt out at any time by contacting us at infoathletizer@gmail.com or by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

Athletizer is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you are under 18, you may not use the Service. The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as PayPal). Athletizer is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or similar transaction, your personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a prominent notice within the app before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Athletizer does not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Do not share your password with anyone. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at infoathletizer@gmail.com so we can take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent in-app notice at least 15 days before the changes take effect. The updated date at the top of this page will always reflect when the policy was last revised.
Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
